There's alot of public art in Barcelona. This one was right near the Columbus memorial ... which is on the waterfront where a lot of the tourist things are. I think it was an Olympic hotspot in 92. Actually seemed in an odd part of town now.

I think that when there is a large world public event there is a lot that happens for show and it then gets left. Heaps of money goes into making the sourounding area look spectacular. Hmmm wonder where they can find that rather large amound of money when Government never have enough money for the important things like health and education. Oh well that seems to be how it is. Rather nice piece of art this though Anita.
