Stepping off on a new foot

Several months ago I won a scholarsip through work to do some travel. It was a formal process of writing up the application and submitting it for consideration alongside the applications of my capable and more established colleagues. To my surprise, I won it and am headed off in 6 weeks. To make matters better- I get some leave too!!

My itinerary is:
Melbourne to Cape Town ( work)
A week in CT
CT to London
A week in Oxford
Then I'm on leave- 4 nights in Barcelona
A week in London
A week in Berlin
One night in London
Home James!


I'm excited and nervous and proud of myself and happy for all the challenges. From October 25 I'll be posting here often and will be thrilled for all comments and feedback!
